Let's assess: There is a ridiculously small amount of cabinet space -- two on either side above the sink and a mini-cabinet connecting them, plus the obligatory under - sink cabinet space, which can only ever be used for trash cans and ... Oh , and speaking of eyesore, the kitchen is also home to the central heating unit and water heater , and they're not, like, hidden.
