donate them i live in Ohio and just about everyone i know has hard water which means calcium and lime in bottom eating away ,throw them away rumpke will take

It’s against the law and against plumbing code to sell used water heaters…..they both are over ten years old and I would have recommended replacing them anyway….take them to your local recycling yard…..you wont get much for them but they are junk….in this case the term “ONe man’s junk is another man’s treasure” is bogus! Do not reuse these heaters!
