  3. MCPetruk Says:

Now that you’ve had it for a year, can you tell me if you’ve had any problems, and approximately how much it has saved you financially? I’d rather have electric, but am thinking of propane because i assume electric is more expensive to run. How many faucets/showers/dishwashers can run simultaneously?
    Thanks for posting this!

If you do not have a 200 amp circuit breaker system in your house don’t even think about it, houses built before 1990 usually don’t.. It’s going to cost you about $2000 to upgrade your electrical service to 200 amps and this is without the installation cost of the unit! Please use a licensed electrician, this unit is a 220V 70amp sucking beast, MUST be on a 70 amp double pole breaker using 6 gauge wire; The savings that you get (1 1/2YR) is well worth the expense..

Thank you for posting this. I have been researching tankless water heaters and have found very mixed reviews, even regarding the product you have. I also found out that for many interested potential buyers is the issues regarding cost of parts, labor, materials and installation. some home owners will incur major cost to install a unit in a pre-existing
structure as opposed to a home that is being constructed; the cost of the special stainless venting pipe is very expense.

I got it set at 110 degrees It is plenty warm even in winter ! It is A great unit !Thanks for watching !

Hi, the in coming water during the winter is much colder then the summer months sometimes even a 15 degrees different depending where you live. How does your Tankless handle the colder water during the winter months? Do you still get hot water you have set on your tankless?

  18. auto9898 Says:

Does that thing suck up enough power to dim your lights?

  19. kvusmc Says:

That is one reason I did it Old tank style units are out of date

  20. dearjon Says:

That’s what I’m doing also Kenny. I am installing a natural gas unit that will not only supply potable hot water but will also provide hot water to my radiant floor heat. A much more economical and efficient way to go plus the tax break is an added incentive. BT
