the temp has nothing to do with the pressure. I would consult with a plumber that has a good rep, have them come out and do an est. to let you know how much it would cost to fix it and exactly what is the problem. Most companies will not charge a service charge if your within a city they service, however if your in the country, they may. But… if you let them do the work, the service charge is waived and you just pay for the job.

Check the rest of the water pressure in home as well, if it has gone down throughout the home, it could be your pressure regulator valve which is outside by your water meter and on your side of the meter.

The water saver is in the faucet/shower/etc.

Check to make sure that your household supply valve is on all the way.

If it is an old house you might need to replace the pipes.

Short of putting in a second tank with a pressure p[ump to feed the water heater those are about the only options.

Do not increase the water temp, it will not do what you want and there is a danger of children and unaware adults being seriously burned or maybe killed.

turn up you supply valve , where ever the water meter / shut off valve is located , do it a quarter of a turn at a time until desired pressure , I am the first one off the main line so I only need just a quarter turn , and that is plenty for me , do not mess with the heater , after all you just replaced it . Plus it would just be a waste of time not counting getting blistered by the water temp.

Since the problem occurred after installing a new water heater and it is only on the hot side you can bet it has to do with the new water heater.

Most likely some mineral deposits from the pipes got disturbed when they installed the new heater. The shower was probably the first thing turned on so this crud plugged your shower head.

Try taking the shower head off and turn on the hot water for a second. Then clean the screen on the end of the shower head real good and put the head back on.

If this does not fix the problem try replacing the shower head as some of the crud has probably clogged it internally.
